**About the Role**
**Duties**
+ Skilled in a wide range of housekeeping functions with responsibility for maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the whole hotel.
+ Empowered to move about their space and do what needs to be done. Whether delivering guest requests, stocking carts, cleaning rooms and public spaces, or other similar responsibilities.
+ Ensuring a safe work place, following company policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality, upholding quality standards, and ensuring your uniform, personal appearance, and communications are professional.
+ Stand, sit, or walk for an extended time and taking a hands-on approach to work (move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance).

Bechtel is providing a wide variety project and contract management services, crossing all disciplines, to customers in Western Australia to support exciting capital works programmes, including in aviation, defence and energy infrastructure. We are looking for people to join us in a long-term relationship to deliver these services in and around Perth where we are working within integrated teams with our customers and to help build Bechtel's capabilities for even greater opportunities in the future.
# Job Summary:
In this role, you will report to the Construction Manager - Hotel.
You will monitor that the contractor is compliant with project specifications and requirements.
# Major Responsibilities:
**Planning / Productivity**
+ Coordinate activities with other disciplines or areas and technical representatives, as instructed by construction management to ensure program delivery priorities are maintained.
+ Review all contractor submittials including construction schedules, costs, reports, and changes.
+ Coordinate data for reports and forecasts, including summaries of construction progress and expenditure forecasts.
+ Support and assist internal stakeholders regarding to onsite project related activities and logistics.
**Safety & Quality**
+ Actively monitor contractor compliance with safety requirements and encourage contractors to perform in a safe manner.
+ Monitor work activities and the quality of work performed by the contractor.
+ Coordinate service providers for technical inspections of the project contractor's works.
# Education and Experience Requirements:
+ Required bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience
# Required Knowledge and Skills:
+ Demonstrated experience in the successful management of major projects in the building industry.
+ Experience in hotel construction is an advantage.
+ Knowledge of related construction practices and the economics involved and current knowledge of new methods of design and construction.
+ High level of interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrable delivery of leadership and behavioural change within a large organisation and with outside organizations.
+ Ability to influence and engage in a collaborative working environment with internal and external stakeholders while maintaining necessary levels of commercial awareness.
+ Prior delivery partner or client-side project management experience is preferred but not essential.
